WHY SHOULD I HIRE YOU ?
WHAT MAKES YOU DIFFERENT THAN OTHER STUDIOS OUT THERE ?
We are a family owned creative boutique studio. This means that we are going to maintain very personal contact throughout the planning, the production, and the editing process. We get to know our couples and truly care about creating images that capture their personalities and what is important to them.
We are also constantly investing in new equipment and learning new techniques to keep our work above and beyond people’s expectations. We also work with small and big businesses on other projects, which only adds to our overall creativity and experience skill set.
We are all pretty pleasant to be around. Having a great personality goes a long way, we also tend to be the calm center of the universe in the hectic pace of the wedding day , because we have shot over 200 weddings and have been in pretty much any and every situation out there. 🙂

DO YOU CHARGE TRAVELLING FEE ?
There is not travelling fee for the first 100 miles round trip from our studio address (north side of the city of Chicago). Any additional mile over 100 is usually charged at $2.00 per mile.
DO YOU TRAVEL FOR DESTINATION WEDDINGS ?
Yes, please! We love travelling and we are available for worldwide travel. All our travel packages include a flat rate fee that covers all travel costs for our crew. We take care of all arrangements, so you don’t have to worry about anything. Please contact us for prices and availability.
HOW DO I RESERVE YOUR SERVICES FOR MY WEDDING DAY ?
We ask for a 33 % deposit and a signed contact to reserve the date. The remaining balance is split in two payments, one half way between the booking day and the wedding day, and the other the week before the wedding. If the wedding is only 3 months or less away, we ask for a 50 % deposit.
Fill out one of our packages inquiries forms and we will be in touch with you right away.
HOW MANY VIDEO CAMERAS DO YOU USE ?
We typically have two videographers using two cameras throughout the wedding day. A third, stationary camera, is used during the ceremony and the toasts at the reception. Sometimes a forth one is used to capture candids and reactions as well. We try to be as inconspicuous as possible throughout the day.
HOW DO YOU RECORD SOUND ?
Without getting too technical, we use professional audio equipment to record all audio that goes into the final film (ceremony, speeches, first look). We use wireless lavalier microphones as well external records plugged into the DJ’s system (with their permission, of course).
HOW SOON AFTER MY WEDDING DAY DO I RECEIVE MY WEDDING FILM AND/OR IMAGES ?
We send an email with the links for review between 40-60 days after the wedding. One revision is included. Once we get an ok from you (or once changes, if any, have been approved), we mail you a thumbdrive with the files within 3-5 business days.
WHO CHOOSES THE MUSIC FOR MY WEDDING FILM ?
Typically, we do. We are paying for licenses to a few websites and we would be glad to share them with you, if choosing your song is important to you. Just let us know during one of our planning conversations.
HOW LONG SHOULD YOU BE THERE DURING THE WEDDING DAY ?
Ideally, we would like to start when the bride is finishing her make up in the morning, and stay at least 30 min after the dance floor opens at the reception. However, every wedding timeline is different. We are glad to discuss the best options for yours during our wedding planning stage.
DO WE GET ALL THE RAW FOOTAGE ?
Raw footage is available at an additional charge to cover the cost of the hard drive and time exporting and copying the footage. We also have a small disclaimer come with it stating that we are not responsible for any edits that are done outside of our studio.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A CINEMATOGRAPHER AND A VIDEOGRAPHER ?
Honestly, nothing. Wedding video companies often use the term “cinematographer” to imply a “cinematic” style to their videos / films. Truth is, we all strive to create “cinematic” films (strong visuals, emotional content, professional quality). We tend to use the terms interchangeably.
